Who we are

Ren is Chinese for “humanity”. We’re British, not Chinese, but it seemed like a cool name anyway. Write Ren works with real writers instead of AI, and we believe in the human connection aspect of content.

We’re a group of writers who understand what it means to adapt. Smartphones changed the world for photographers, and in much the same way, AI language models are changing the world for writers.

We believe that just as a truly great photographer can always produce a photo much better than an amateur with a smartphone, a great writer will always outcompete an AI writer when it comes to quality and human connection.

What is Content Writing?
Content writing is the process of creating written material for various purposes, such as websites, blogs, social media, marketing campaigns, and more. It involves crafting engaging, informative, and persuasive content that effectively communicates messages to the target audience. Content writers research topics, develop a writing style that aligns with the brand’s voice, and produce high-quality content that meets the specific goals and objectives of the client or business.
What’s your expected turnaround time?

We try to avoid a precise answer for this, because it depends on many factors. A 1,000 word article on a legal issue (that requires harder research and more precision) will take longer than a 1,000 word article on the 10 best restaurants in Paris, for example.

As a general rule, we aim for 1 business day per 500 words of SEO-optimized blog content, 1 business day per 1,000 words of non-optimized blog content, and 1 business day per 2,000 words of very long (print or ebook) content.

You can always submit multiple pieces at the same time, and we will work on them to the max wordcount your plan allows.

What does “SEO-optimized” really mean?
We use two different apps called Neuronwriter and Frase. They analyze the top results for your keyword in Google and tell us how things like length, structure, and keyword density will help your content rank in Google. We also put a little extra time into structure and hooks that help increase your retention. This is one of the most important factors for Google going into 2023.

Are your writers REALLY native English speakers?

Yes! All of our writers are native speakers or otherwise have advanced language skills—comparable to an American or British writer.
